Efektivitas Penghimpunan Dana Zakat pada Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Kabupaten Luwu

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the collection of zakat funds is carried out by BAZNAS Luwu Regency and what are the inhibiting and supporting factors in the collection of zakat funds carried out by BAZNAS Luwu Regency. This research was conducted at the Luwu Regency BAZNAS office, using a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the theory of Miles and Huberman, namely reducing data, presenting data and inferring data. The research obtained the first result The First,That the collection of zakat funds at BAZNAS Luwu Regency was carried out by socialization and evaluation. Socialization in the community aims to be in direct contact and provide an understanding to the community how important and safe BAZNAS is in the management and distribution of zakat for mustahik. Meanwhile, the evaluation was carried out as a material for introspection and improvement of the BAZNAS program, which first will collect data on each zakat management institution in Luwu Regency, then improvements will be made that can support plus value for the institution so that it can become a safer and more beneficial zakat management institution for people in need. The Second, One of the factors that hinders the management of zakat in BAZNAS is because most of the people of Luwu Regency deposit at the nearest mosques so that the musakki data obtained is very lacking.  The supporting factors for the management of zakat funds at BAZNAS Regency Luwu because it has full support from officials so that it becomes an opportunity for institutions in collecting zakat funds, but besides that there are regulations and decrees that regulate zakat.
